Day 1: Tokyo arrival

Arrive in Tokyo and settle in before enjoying a relaxed welcome dinner.

Day 2: Markets, Sushi and Old Tokyo

Explore a local market with a sushi master, then explore beautiful gardens, glide along the Sumida River, and end the day wandering the historic Asakusa district.

Day 3: Theatre, Shrines & Tokyo Bay at Night

Experience the timeless elegance of Japan’s classical performing arts with a private dance show, then shop and explore Tokyo’s trendiest spots before dining aboard a traditional boat on Tokyo Bay.

Day 4: Mountains, Lake and Hot Springs

Travel to serene Hakone for a peaceful cruise on Lake Ashi, a scenic ropeway ride, and unwind in a luxurious hot spring resort.

Day 5: Spiritual Morning and Outdoor Art

Find your zen with guided meditation set to the haunting sounds of a traditional flute, visit an inspiring outdoor art museum, and enjoy soothing spa treatments.

Day 6: Bullet Train to Kyoto

Journey to Kyoto by high-speed train, savor a tea ceremony, try on traditional kimono, explore historic districts, and a private tempura dinner.

Day 7: Temples and Maiko Encounter

Step into Kyoto’s rich culture with intimate access to a geisha teahouse, discover iconic temples, and stroll through beautiful gardens.

Day 8: Temple Rituals and Torii at Dusk

Enjoy a private tour of a World Heritage temple with a monk, learn sacred rituals, then explore lively markets and visit a famous shrine winding trail.

Day 9: Kingtsugi, Bamboo Craft and Farewell

Get creative with traditional crafts by learning the art of kintsugi and making bamboo chopsticks, accompanied by tea and sweets in a scenic setting.

Day 10: Farewell

Say goodbye to Japan as you transfer to the airport for your journey home, filled with memories to last a lifetime.

  • Accommodation Format: two room categories in the same hotels: Signature and Essential.  Same address; size and view differ.
     

  • Inclusions: accommodation, breakfast, featured lunches and dinners, private touring, ground transfers, entrance fees, on-trip support.
     

  • Exclusions: international flights, travel insurance, meals outside of signature experiences, personal incidentals.
     

  • Investment: CAD 22,000-24,000 per person based on double occupancy; deposit and terms shared upon acceptance. 
     

  • ​Timing and Next Steps: share interest by February 28, 2026 and we'll schedule a brief call upon receipt of your form.  If accepted, you'll receive the outline, final range, and a deposit request.
